Zombies have been killed in so many ways that you could write a book on the subject, but some games like Zombies Shooter Part 1 opt for the classic methods. You are a lone survivor in a world that has been taken over by either the undead or by people infected with some sort of lethal and aggressive virus. No matter the reason, you're still a living and breathing human just trying to navigate this dangerous world. At least you have a whole arsenal to make things a bit easier for yourself to fight and survive.
Much like their namesake, zombie games are designed to be mindless, allowing you to release some tension by battling hordes of squishy monsters. Zombies Shooter Part 1 offers this exact experience and is quite generous with the equipment it provides right from the start. While you can create your own narrative, the game seems to set up a last stand scenario where it's just you against the undead to determine the ultimate survivor. Do whatever it takes to clear out the city, and perhaps one day the zombie menace will be vanquished.
Zombies Shooter Part 1 is a 3D FPS zombie game where you combat zombies using the mouse and keyboard.
The objective of each level is to eliminate all zombies in the area, as indicated in the top left of the screen. A map in the top right shows your position marked in white and the zombies' positions marked with red skulls. Zombies roam the map but generally move towards you once alerted. They attack by biting and swinging, impacting your health displayed in the bottom left corner. If your health drops to zero, you must restart the level.
Upon starting, you spawn in a random, open section of the city with a variety of weapons and infinite ammo. Zombies persist as long as active, capable of losing limbs and blood without ceasing. Initially equipped with three grenades, these can be lobbed in arcs but are finite without means to replenish. Progress to the next level once all local zombies are dispatched.
While zombies may vary in appearance, they share a common shuffling gait. Some colossal zombies absorb more damage and deliver heavier blows, introducing diversity.
For the uninitiated in zombie lore, the standard protocol is to aim for the head. Potent weapons such as shotguns dispatch heads with ease yet entail restricted range and protracted reload intervals. Preserve explosives like grenades and RPG rounds for sizable groups.
